‘Look out!’ Marvin cries to the herd.
‘The machines are coming!’
‘What do we do?!’ cry the elephants.
‘They’ve got Dirk!’
‘Wait. What’s that sound? It sounds like…’
‘Machines.’
‘I can’t get free!’ shouted Dirk ‘Help me!’
“Amelia screams from the launch pad. Waaaaahhhhhhhhhooooo!’
‘I can do it. I can do it.’
‘I’m coming.’
‘I’ve got it Dirk! Now run!’
‘Look out Amelia! They’ve got rockets!’ warned Marvin.
“Woosh!”
“Marvin, she saved us! Where is she?’ Called the herd.
‘She tried to turn and roll, but there was an explosion.’
‘But she’s okay, right?
‘I don’t know.’ (Marvin)
‘Wait. What’s that?!’
‘Amelia! Amelia!’
(The elephant herd cheers Amelia’s bravery)
‘You’re amazing!’
‘That was great!’
‘You did it!’
‘Thank you!’
‘Waaaaahhhhhhhhhooooo!’
“I’m so sorry, Mom.’
‘Me too, honey.’
‘It’s good to be home Dirk.’
‘I missed you too, Brat!’
‘I’m sorry for being such a jerk.’
‘Hey! what the…’
‘It’s okay Dirk. When Amelia’s in charge, she’ll let you tag along!’
“Their migration complete, the herd rests…
…and enjoys life by the river…
…while it lasts.”
