Agatha Christie said it best.
“A mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity. It dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path.” (3)
As is typical of an elephant mama the moment she recognizes her son from a distance, after time spent apart, she runs to greet him with rumbles and elephant cuddles, her daughter by her side. Watch and listen as Jamila (age 38) and her year old daughter reunite with the young bull elephant. It is a sight to behold.
