Elephant mothers are just like us
They look after their babies with minimal fuss
Until one takes a tumble or gets stuck in the mud
They would go to the ends of the earth if they could…
Not unlike humans with unbreakable bonds
For their babies they always hold dear in their hearts
It is fitting that there is a day we can share
A day we’ve devoted to show that we care
