It might be cold outside in Fargo, ND where this exuberant two-year-old chocolate Labrador Retriever lives. But this pup named Piper doesn’t let the weather dampen her spirits, especially when a ride in the car means taking along her newest best friend.
It seems that Piper is especially taken by this “giant $12 cuddly elephant” from an Aldi store in her hometown. A toy she considers more of a life-sized “buddy,” unlike the smaller playthings she had a tendency to tear up and “shred”.
Piper’s expressions in the photos says it all, she dearly loves her new elephant. And to watch a happy dog leap into the back of an SUV, lugging stuffed elephant almost bigger than the dog herself, is just too cute.
The cool part is that Piper’s owner Alex Naseth loves his dog so much that his dog’s joy is more important than how daft the sight of a pup tripping over her beloved plush elephant might appear.

P.S. Love your elephant, Piper. And love watching your puppy-joy for life, too!
