Elephant Family Announces “The Elephants Are Back!” : Follow the Elephants All Over London as Elephant Parade London 2018 is in Full Swing to Raise Money & Awareness for Asian Elephants

Elephant Parade is Back in London and Elephant Family was, again, there to welcome them.

  • Elephant Parade London 2018 was officially launched 21 June 2018 (see their Facebook post on that date here) by HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, Joint President of Elephant Family

  • If not for a baby elephant named Mosha Elephant Parade would not exist. Marc & Mike Spits were touched by a real-life little elephant who “lost her leg after stepping on a landmine.” And it was in 2006 that the father & son team founded Elephant Parade to immediately raise money to help elephants. Their goal was to set up elephant hospitals for injured elephants such as Mosha and to further the cause of elephant conservation as well.

  • There are 30 “brightly painted elephant sculptures (by artists from India) standing sentinel across London to raise awareness & funds… for the plight of Asia’s elephants”.

  • “Elephant Locations” Where are the Elephants in London? Follow the Elephants All Over London! Look at the Google Map here

  • And you can own one of the 30 “hand-painted designer elephants” by placing your bid at Paddle 8 here.

Shop for more elephant parade replicas at the ElephantParade.com website here (“All Elephant Parade replicas are carefully handcrafted in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Due to its handcrafted nature each piece is unique and might vary slightly in design.”)

And the best part is you are helping to save Asian elephants!
